Prior to starting a passport application, applicants are required to verify whether their place of residence falls under the Honorary Consulate of Lebanese in Nevada’s jurisdiction.
Process of applying for a new Lebanese passport:
Lebanese passports are issued by the Directorate General of the General Security in Lebanon.
How to apply?
The applicant will have to fill out an application at the consulate office.
What are the paperwork requirements?
– Copy of your old passport
– Copy of your residency in the US
– 2 photos (white background, sized at 4.3 x 3.5 inches)
– Copy of your Lebanese ID or Individual Extract of Civil Status
How much does it cost?
Money order payable to the Consulate General of Lebanon for the amount of USD 600 (passport valid for 10 years)
Passport processing time
For more information, follow the instructions on the DHL website. Please note that once you receive a notification from DHL that your passport has been delivered back to the Consulate from Lebanon, allow 3 working days for processing before forwarding to your address.
Receiving Passports
When the new passport arrives at the Consulate, the concerned person will be contacted to receive it either in person at the Consulate.
The Consulate is not responsible for any delays in traveling to Lebanon or any immigration issue resulting from personal negligence.
A Lost passport should be reported immediately to the local police, a copy of the police report is required (please note that the report number is not enough, we need a copy of the actual report).
